CPR Instructor/Instructor Renewal Course
An American Heart Association CPR Instructor/Instructor Renewal Course will be held at
the Abington Memorial Health Center in Willow Grove. This course is
presented by the Safety Institute of Pennsylvania.
The classes will be held in our training center on Saturday 3/27/2010.
Testing of skills will be held during the class.
The standards for passing the course are:
1. Attend the 3/27 class session. (8:30am-3:30pm) [IR 8:30-12:30]
2. Pass all performance skills
A. 1 & 2 rescuer CPR
B. Obstructed airway procedures, mouth to mask & bag valve mask
C. Infant & child resuscitation
D. Automatic External Defibrillator testing
3. Complete the AHA Core Instructor Course online (New Instructors only)
4. Complete a CPR class monitoring within 90 days after the class
The classes are open to both medical and non-medical persons. You
should dress in a comfortable, informal manner. You should review your
CPR book and practice your skills before attending your class.
A special program is available for Red Cross CPR Instructors who would
like to teach with the American Heart Association. Call for details.
To register send a check for $295. per person. Instructor Renewal will be $90. per person.
Enclose a photo copy of your current Healthcare Provider CPR card. (New Instructors only)
You must bring an approved pocket mask with you, or you may purchase
one by adding $15 to your registration.
Your registration must be received by 3/13/2010. The class size is
limited, and will be filled on a first come basis. Please call (215) 674-3444 with
